4850 by miles my good compadre. has u recommended a gtx 260 meybe not so much but as it stands 4850 is the winnah!what graphics card is better?
the 9800gts + is the winner although a gts 250 is basically the same card but with double the memory and lower power usage and runs cooler(u can overclock even further)

I disagree here. I've got two PCs, one with an overclocked 9800GTX, one with an overclocked 4850. The 9800GTX system wins in 3dmark by 1000 points (identical processor and RAM in both PCs).

Thats a GTX not a GTX+
Ummmmm, i need to buy it today guys. but wouldn't t that 9800 be better because it has clock core of 675mhz, and 2200 mhz of memory clock?
I need a quick and sure answer please :)
and the evga recommends having a 1000 watt power supply, i have 580 with a back fan and a side fan only.
and the evga recommends having a 1000 watt power supply, i have 580 with a back fan and a side fan only.
the 9800GTX+ certainly doesn't need a 1000w PSU. I don't know how EVGA can justify that. its power consumption is very low for a high end card.I use a 500w PSU and a 9800GTX+ with no problems.
my mistake but all the same guy whom i was origionally on the opposite side with a gts 250 is eq. to a 9800gtx (no ''+'' no o.c.) so all the same i prove a point via a technicality and more importantly this was during its beta drivers so you can imagine the actual power here. and finally who really bothers to manually O.C. there gpu's? not like it makes the hugest difference in the world.

and yes it would thats just as big as most other wide atx cases (antec 900, cooler master centurion/centurion 5, etc.)
I would recommend 9800. Its a big card, looks almost as big as GTX260, but with a mid ATX case, you should be fine.
