my list:max payne-practically created bullet timehalf life-havent played it, soon will with black mesa source, but it revolutionised the fps genre as everyone knowsmafia-one of the best stories around, brilliant setting, shows other open world city games can be good apart from gtagta 3,vc,san andreas,4 -take your pick of games, you may not like them, but they are excellent and uniquesystem shock 2- i was going to say bioshock, but its a copy of this. cracking story and atmosphere from what ive heard if its anything like bioshocktotal war- very original and unique rts. series still going strong after 5 (?) games.starcraft-havent played it myself, but it did revolutionise the rts genreWow- 11 million players online. nuf said. once again, i havent played it, but that many players means it has to be good, and that amount of players is itself revolutionarythe witcher-first game that i know of to make you care about the choices you make, and to feel their consequences. and not just in a ''now i can't get the sword of magical magic'' wayplease add to the list, im sure there are many more:)games to play before you die?
