Lag on BF2.

I just played a few games of bf 2 online to check it out and both were lagging pretty bad. IM not really sure what it was about. CS:S worked fine. My internet connection here is great. Any suggestions?Lag on BF2.
Before you join look at the latency of the server. If it's a server overseas it will be very difficult to run. Also Battlefield is a much harder game to run without lag than CS:S you could just be having slow time on your internet connection as well. It could also be a hardware or software problem. But check the first one first. That is most likely the culprit. Lag on BF2.
well if you have two computers or more hooked up to the same connection and those computers are active or downloading something it will lagg, like my brother was upstairs downloading some songs, and i was getting like 600 ping, when he left to go somewhere and his computer was off, i ussually had less then 100 ping.

I doubt its a software problem. This is a 4 day old pc. plus, i updated the driver from nvidia. Im currently at my gmas house, and there are multiple other laptops running connected to the internet.
Never mind that last post.. anyways, i also (just now) has some lag on counter strike.. my Grandma is on her laptop... dono if thats the issue
