Okay, So I enjoy MMORPGs but I'm trying to find a game that has more then just fighting. I want a game that money is just important. I want a game where you have levels in creating stuff to sell to others to make money. I think an MMO is great if it's 50% fighting and 50% job working. I want a game you could have some black smith level or some jewel level or some other specialized job. I'm not that big of a pro in MMO's so I don't know of a game of how I want exactly. Any suggestions?PS. This might be against the Gamespot rules because I'm asking for a recommendation but I've failed looking everywhere else.Question for all you MMO players
I'm enjoying Runes of Magic right now, it's similiar to WoW and Guild Wars, plus it's free to play. Check it out, I think it meets your criteria.Question for all you MMO players
have you tried something called ''life''? cuz that's pretty much exactly what you summed up to be
have you tried something called ''life''? cuz that's pretty much exactly what you summed up to be
HAHA pretty much.Vanguard, %26 LotRo to name a couple. i know crafting was a huge deal in Vanguard, could craft everything from armor and weapons, to houses and furnature in the house. But that game is pretty much dead now. LotRo's crafting system is kinda the same, but a much simpler version of it.
2 moons is free, pretty cool too!has better graphics I think, doesn't look like a cartoon like others.
Eve Online!!! You don't have to fight at all if you don't want to, you can become a miner/a trader/a shipbuilder aso
RuneScape has a good mix of both, and its F2P without a download so you can give it a try before having to committ any time or money
have you tried something called ''life''? cuz that's pretty much exactly what you summed up to be
Wow, you're a blacksmith who spends 50% of his life fighting monsters? And here I thought we had to play video games to get that kind of action. Where do you live? :P

...No
Star Wars Galaxies, back when it was still based on skills and not levels.

Every MMO out there atm sux when it comes to player economies, with the exception of EvE online. 93% of MMO players are 5 wow kill quest noobz.
Eve Online!!! You don't have to fight at all if you don't want to, you can become a miner/a trader/a shipbuilder aso
Ya, EVE Online is simply epic and amazing. If I didnt have a best friend playing WoW, I'd be playing EVE.Give it a spin; the steep learning curve is the only bad part but once you get the hang of it (tip: right click is your friend!) its a great game with awesome mechanics and a solid, fun community.
Everything you said makes me think of eve online. I've only actually gotten into a fight a few times in that game. Mostly I just harvest ice and ores. In eve money equals power. You train skills but at least from my perspective its more about trading and aquiring wealth than it is about fighting. Especially considering the consequences of fighting.

Do you lose everything if you die?
Mabinogi has a really good mix of crafting and combat, such that I'd almost liken it to Ultima Online. You can also gain skill in playing musical instruments and writing your own songs (using a music markup language).
