It is legal and its pretty good.I still personally like Steam/GOG more but D2D still gets used on occasion by me aswell.
Great service and top notch support, personally my most used DD service. Only thing you have to be careful for is that some patches that work for a retail game won't work for the D2D games, but D2D usually makes a patch especially for D2D customers in those rare cases.

It's great but I prefer Steam, they usually have cheaper prices or bigger deals. Sometimes
