Just cause problem help me!!!

I just bought and installed just cause everything went fine but when i get in the machine gun at the start i experience extreme lag i checked on can you run it if i could run the game i could but it said i was using vista 32 bit but eidos says it works on vista 32 bit so that,s not the problem pls help me.:(
