Right click on the installer and go into properties, check XP compatibility and run as administrator. See if that works.Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 won't install on vista!!

i had the same probably when i tried to install it on Vista even though i have an actual copy of the game! The only solution i have found is you gotta download it from a site like pirate bay, etc. They have versions that are specifically meant for Vista. They have few seeds so it is gonna take a while but it is well worth! I have been addicted for the last week lol. Good Luck!
oh and also when you check compatibility make sure it is set to windows 95

This. Had issues installing RCT1 on my new PC. Setting the compatibility mode to Windows 95 solved everything.
its a compatibility issue i couldnt install mafia
