for people who have KOTOR 2

i keep getting an error: feature transfer errorC: default componetFile: D/data3.caberror data Cyclic redundaray checkdoes anyone know how to fix thisand yes ive used google to find out but i cant seem to get it working (the game that is)for people who have KOTOR 2
Are you getting this during installation? If you are then you need to get a new copy. If you are getting this during gameplay, try a re-install.for people who have KOTOR 2
I agree, it sounds like a damaged disk.
i would try copying all the files onto the hard drive and installing the game from there. that often worked for me when installing bioware games (like jade empire). don't remember if i had this problem with kotor 2 though...

yeah the data3.cab thing is a damaged disk, i had this problem with the witcher EE, some people say copying the files then installing helps, but it didnt work in my case, looks like u will have to return the game and get a new disk, or hopefully the other solution will work. best of luck its a real pain.
