uhh...i have no clue what u asked...lol im not THAT good with comps..
Ok, your computer probably isn't powerful enough to run this game.Could you go to srtest.com and select call of duty 4 from the list? That would help me tell you.If it asks to instal activeX control or something similar, go for it.
I'll go try what u sugested, but my computer should be able to handle it.It's a wireless comp..and has a lot of memory, not sure exactly though.
''Error: There was a problem downloading the ActiveX component. One of the following happened.1) You did not give your permission to download the ActiveX component (sysreqlab.cab from Husdawg, LLC). If so, you can start over (you will have to close the browser and start over), run this service again and give your permission.2) Your browser settings do not allow browser Plug-ins to be installed. You can change your settings and try again.''That's what it said...i guess i should let it download?Ok, I let it download, now it says I don't have the right video card. Its says: ''Sorry, your video card does not meet this minimum requirement. Upgrade to a more powerful video card will make all your applications look better. Click the 'We Recommend' button to see some great options.''
If you want to, but I just remembered an easier way.Go to the start menu, and click on the start search (on vista) or on XP, click ''run''Type in dxdiagThat will show you your computer specs, tell us what it says, and go to the display tab also
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1)DellMemory: 510MB RAMPage File: 367MB used, 877MB available DirectX version: 9.0cDisplayChip Type: RADEON X300 SEApprox. Total Memory: 128.0MBCurrent Display: 1024 x 768 (32 bit) (60Hz)plug and play monitorI got only a little idea what some of this means (most of it i have no clue), maybe you do =/
That's what I was looking for.Unfortunately, this means you can't run the game. You don't meet the minumum requirements, so your computer can't render the game, meaning you get a blue screen when it's time for your computer to step up.I reccomend playing the original, that's what I play, and I love it. Your computer will play it fine.
yeah, your computer is too old to handle cod4. 510mb memory won't do it, neither will your video card unfortunately. CoD is a great game still though, if you get it go with the expansion pack too, thats Call of Duty: United Offensive.
Oh well...I'm getting it for xbox soon so doesn't really matter. Thanks for all your help.

DON'T revive threads that are so old and your answer is obvious, you can't run the game, your ''Video card doesn't support vertex shading'' also you won't be playing many games on that laptop (if it is a laptop), only old ones.
