Mix them how you like. Don't forget to fool around, using all the weapons and spells. Try to look as cool as you can while fighting, don't go for efficiency instead of kicking-ass in the most inventive way possible. Most reviewers blazed through the game, without taking advantage of all the options possible.Dark Messiah questions
Normal is okay, the game is fun enough to go through a second time on Hardcore especially since you can spec differently. The multiplayer is alright I remember not many poeple played until peak hours though.I always like sticking to one spec tree, in this case melee with daggers and sneak and being a ninja. In oblivion I like being a sneak class with a bow but it's your choice.
i was playing tutorial and i saw there was combat magic and miscellaneousso there isn't a seperate thing for stealth?or is stealth mostly in the misc section of upgrades?edit: oh and i know this isn't a shooter but the combat is much more liks an fps than in most medieval type magic games like oblivion or witcher

You can upgrade them as you see fit, the only restriction is the amount of skill points you earn and obviously the way the trees are constructed. I usually end up with a jack-of-all-trades character. You can create an all-stealth character. Remember that many weapons are class or skill restricted.
i have some questions?do more skills appear later in the game or is the current skill tree the whole thing, because it seems kinda smallanyway so far its pretty awesome, though i think i'll go down to normal from hard, a
There are 3 skill trees, physical skill tree, magic skill tree and erm..yeh the misc skill tree I will call it.

Magic is brilliant, I advise the freeze spell I had so much fun with that spell its untrue, you can freeze enemies or you can freeze the ground and make them slip on it...do around stairs and watch them take a very long tumble. Lol.

Physical Skills are essential for damage and fighting.

Misc are important for things like max health and magic as well as stealth skill.

I actually loved the game and completed it so many times on normal and hard mode, but then it got boring and so I started using cheats which I highly advise once you completed the game, that way you can spawn NPCs, weapons and get all skills on the skill tree at any time.
Just need to beat Far Cry and I will be on to Dark Messiah. Ubisoft Classic Pack was and is a great deal.

hmmi'm liking the staff so farwhat class is the staff?
mage
harcore it is almost imposible, especially for a begginer
hmmi'm liking the staff so farwhat class is the staff?
Uhm there are no classes unless you play in Multiplayer, which the Mage will have the staff.

Normally when you play through single player, anyone can use the staff. It depends on how you build your character.
