SourceKonami has not only managed to get marines and Iraqi civilians to contribute to Six Days in Fallujah, but somehow they got insurgents to give their own (positive?) contribution to the gaming industry.New Level of Realism in Games - Insurgents contribute to Six Days in Fallujah
That's cool. Game's gonna be great, the recent media fuss will make the team do their best.New Level of Realism in Games - Insurgents contribute to Six Days in Fallujah
Good that they are getting all angles but I think a line needs to be drawn sometimes. I mean what's next? Sid Mier's Pirates: Somalia Edition?

it really does seem.. odd.
Wow. This game COULD be an amazing accomplishment, but I'm not giving in to any hype yet.

Yeah, it's a little iffy. Kinda like asking Jeffrey Dahlmer for input on a agme about serial killing and cannibalism. I suppose one could make the argument that the irregulars fighting in Iraq were simply guerillas but it does seem a little to fresh in people's minds to be profiting off. I'd say the one generation rule should be a rough guideline when making games based off real events such as this.
Why not? I'ts not like they're contributing to terrorism. Everyone gets their say, and there should be no line drawing as far as that's concerned
Lets not confuse Insurgents and terrorists, yeah? Its a very fine line between the two. In any case, the scene in Iraq is a lot different now than in the early parts of the war. There are many cases of insurgents that turned coat and worked for the US/Iraq govt now so its probably from these perspectives that the dev team is collecting info from.If the US army has no problems working with these guys, then lets not pretend to be squemish about it coz we all play games where we massacred countless virtual ''human'' lives since 1995...or much earlier.

i am major hyped for this game, as long as it turns out to be as accurate and realistic as possible i will be a happy camper (im a sucker for realism in games >.>) :D
