The environments look pretty bland imo.the beauty that is Aion (56k)
Some of the mountain textures could use a bit of work....but overall looks very nice, like Guild Wars.
What I want to know is:
- Is it a full blown MMO, or like GW?
- Will it have monthly fees?
- The story is a bit confusing...can u explain it more simple?

Also, for Cryengine, the foliage looks kinda bad :/ I thought it was suppose to look better than that, but the characters look great, clothes, weapons and water too.

- For the story, its best to just go on the website and read the lore.
It looks worth checking out. One of my friends is the CRM for that game.

I'm going to agree. They have that shaded, anime look to them with a sort of blur on the colors. Its kind of boring.
MMO's cant have high requirements, it limits the amount of people who can play. Not everyone has a decent computer, ive got friends that play WoW at 12 FPS on low, and its these people that are usually there focus. If everyone can play it, that theres a bigger market. So thats why I assume the foliage and enviroments look kind of bland. That being said, the character models look awesome, but I doubt ill change from WoW unless its faster or has better PVP.

While I've no love for Aion(or any Korean grindfest), a lot of times screenshots don't do the real in-game visuals any justice.
imho folks should looks at most screenshots by players (not ''official'' touched up screens) with the constant reminder that it prolly look better than the captured screens.
ill give it a go if theres ever a free trial
honestly, and I mean this in all seriousness, that looks like crap.not only to many carebear happy colors with rainbow sprinkles the detail is lacking.Now, if you can get in, Darkfall is graphically amazing!added: those graphics posted are about the same quality or less than EverQuest 2 is currently and EQ2 looks like a cartoon compared to DarkFall
yep I know a few people playing the open beta and ave said nothing but positive things about it , looking forward to it since WOW is pretty much for dumb players
Looks like a wussier, more fluffy Guild Wars. Even the character models.

Look...I agree that there are total retarded dumb kiddies playing WoW, but to call EVERYONE dumb is a bit far....
I used to play WoW before....I love my deep RPGs, my RTSs, FPS etc....and I see that WoW is a lot more simple...but I played it just cause it was fun to play with a friend of mine overseas....
