ok guys so i have posted alot about problems today and i have gotten this far -Dawn of war 2 now opens and i am able to go to the main menuI can log on the Games For Window LIVE programBut the problem is i get a message 'The profile cannot be signed into LIVE. There may be a network problem or Windows Live ID service may be unavalible'I have tried many things but this game does still not sign in!please help! AGAIN!Dawn of War 2 will STILL not sign in...

It really does sound like a firewall issue to be honest. One last thing I can think of to test things out is go to Xbox.com and make a new gamertag and see if you can sign in on the game with that. You might need to make a spare hotmail or other email address first.

hmm it just worked for me it could be your firewall.
