Running Shadowrun on XP

A friend of mine said its now possible to play Shadowrun on Windows XP if you just do a few modifications.Has anyone who BOUGHT a copy of Shadowrun tried using it on XP?I did some research online and it seems to work for some people, im just curious if anyone on gamespot tried it?I bought a copy of Shadowrun for pc as it was only 9$, wasnt sure if it would work for XP as it says Vista only, but seeing some of hte comments online it seems like it is possible to play Shadowrun on XP WITH A LEGIT/PAID VERSION of Shadowrun.Thanks for any info!
